When you’re asked to introduce a new product that is an already popular product wrapped in another popular product – it’s best to just get out of the way.
All we needed to do was to tell people that 1) it was real and 2) it was coming soon. Here’s a mark I created that was used early on in the campaign to hype the release.
As soon as it dropped in stores the response from fans online was incredible. Taco Bell wanted to find a way to reward them. So we let people to cash in their YouTube hits (on Taco Bell related videos) for actual tacos.
For months the stores could barely keep up with demand. But there was still one question on everyone’s mind.
